What can you expect from Beyond Fitness?

We provide a one-on-one personal training experience in a relaxed, friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. We’ll begin the consultation phase by assessing your level of fitness (i.e. testing your cardiovascular strength, flexibility and range of motion).  At Beyond Fitness, our trainers are passionate professionals, who will listen as you describe your fitness goals, and/or your overall desire for health and wellness. A trainer will be assigned to you once your evaluation is complete. The trainer will also assist you in developing a fitness plan that supports the lifestyle changes you desire.

One-on-one personal training (with minimal interruption)

The personal training session lasts approximately one hour, consisting of a brief warm-up, a 45-minute workout, followed by a stretch/Thai massage cool down. Thai massage is the perfect compliment to any exercise routine and is suitable for people of all ages.  A complete Thai massage combines traditional acupressure, energy meridian work, and yoga-like stretching. The client lies on a comfortable mat on the floor and remains fully clothed during the massage. This massage technique can improve circulation, flexibility, muscle tone, relieve fatigue of over-worked muscles from sports or work, and generally improve range of motion. Massage also helps detoxify the body and strengthen the immune system.  Both Jah’Life & Patricia are certified in Basic Thai Massage.

NOTE: A traditional Thai massage lasts about 1½ hours, while a therapeutic massage may last up to 3 hours. Appointments are required in advance.
